I came for the opening and the service was very enjoyable. I've been back for dinner, and for lunch and the food is always fresh and prepared with an artist touch. I love the tiger roll, it is one of the best roles I have ever had anywhere. Give this place a try and you wont be disappointed.

I think this is the best sushi in the area, given the poor choices in the upper east side (I'm at 92nd and 1st) The people are nice too. I found that complimenting the chef was the right thing to do, so if it's good and you like it, let them know becuse they will go that extra mile to make you happy too. I have had it delivered too, and it's just as good but that's probably because I am close to the place. Also I'd recommend asking what's fresh and what is the daily special. I've tried the others and this is your best bet if you are not willing to go far. It is pricey though, so enjoy.

I was walking down the street with my girlfriend and noticed that this place had just recently opened. I grabbed a menu and had it delivered the following week. The spicy tuna roll tasted with red mayonaise stuffed in rice. The sashimi did not seem to be fresh.

I tired this place about 3 weeks ago randomly. was a little hesitant due to only 1 other couple in the place. But what the hell!!! What i stumbled upon is by far the best sushi place on the UES (not including Gari). The pieces were huge & so fresh. The veg tempura was great and there was alot. The rolls were alos excellent. the service was nice & the sushi chef was friendly & helpful. This place kills Oto ya, Sushi Gen, wasabi lobby & even Isohama. And best part of all the price is very reasonable. This is my new favorite sushi place by far.
