Fishy :-(
Ordered delivery - pretty fast; but ended up throwing away most of it. The Spicy Tuna Roll was very fishy. Not fresh. The Avocado Cucumber roll - also fishy. The sushi was pretty warm and mushy - not appetizing. The salad was just a bunch of lettuce, nothing else.

fishy...
Ordered takeout from here and could only stand to take one bite of a spicy tuna handroll because it was so fishy. We also ordered a yellowtail and scallion roll, and a salmon avocado roll. Both were better than the spicy tuna but you could tell that the fish was just not very fresh; we threw away almost half of everything. The renkon appetizer was the only thing I could eat, and I did enjoy it. Overall though, definitely not worth the price and quality was poor.

prix fixe $29.95
This set menu is an excellent choice! Miso Soup Or Green Salad - I like the carrot & ginger dressing on the salad. The salad retains its crispness with sweet dressing. Appetizer - any one item from Appetizer list (hot or cold). I like Chilean Seabass Steak from hot and from cold, definitely Titanic medley (crab meat, seaweed, cucumber, and wasabi tobiko in a avocado shell. It's filling. For main, I like untraditonal Chirashi (bed of sushi rice with shredded eggs, nori, sweet marinated mushroom (yum!!) and topped with Sashimi and salad. Finished with drizzling of sweet dark sauce (Japanese bull dog sauce..?). For dessert, I like green tea Teramisu but need to add extra $3. We often get delivered but it much nicer experience when I dine there. The chef glances you and make your order. I can ask for more...

Excellent!
We started going to Aki last year. The owner/chef and his wife are wonderful people and take great pride providing their customers with super service and wonderful sushi. We try and go every other week. Aki is very small but also very quaint. Some of the choices on the menu are very unusual and perfectly prepared. Aki is a wonderful place to dine and relax.

Lovely atmosphere, tiny portions, very fresh sushi
Ordered the sushi for two and were so hungry after paying $30 each including tip that we had to go to the nearby hot dog place to satisfy our hunger (and we don't ever do this). However, the sushi plate we did have was excellent quality, superbly fresh, and quite tasty, even if the portions were small. The place is cute and its a great little spot for a nice quiet dinner with your significant other.

10 Years and Counting
The secret's out! What can I say about this place? Nothing still disappoints me. The food's always fresh and tasty. Excellent service. Small but cozy atmosphere. Thank you for 10 years of great dining experience. I look forward to visit again.
