So So
I was looking for sushi my new apartment (mid West), a place where I would feel comfortable by myself and I did here. The restaurant is small and the atmosphere quaint but I’ve had better sushi. There was hardly any fish in the rolls. I think I can find better.

sushi is okay but not worth unfriendly service
i used to order from aki all the time, twice a week for dinner. my bill would be around $35-40. i stopped because: 1. the employees that would answer the phone were downright rude at times. there's too many options especially these days. wake up aki!! 2. brown rice would not always be available and they charge at least a dollar per roll extra. most places i get takeout from only charge half that, if at all.

Good Choice for small lunch
The place is very small but they make up with great food at great prices. There are 2 tables that seat 4 and 2 more that seat 2, so very small but cozy. Would def go back again.

Great lunch
After a long morning running all around town talking my grandparents into eating sushi for lunch.Overall, everything was great!! AND they loved it too. Neat place.

Overrated and Over priced
I ordered delivery to my midtown office as I have before. I often find the person answering the phones to be short with me and unwilling to explain the menu when you have questions. The delivery service was fast and the sushi is generally good but they are over priced for the quality and lack of quantity. It’s defiantly quick and convenient but apart from that it’s really not that memorable.

Unpleasant experience
Aki sushi was definitely not what I expected. I usually order from Ocha, but double check every once in a while to make sure its still my fav. I ordered the lunch special at Aki with two CA rolls, miso soup and salad. Delivery arrived about 45 minutes later--with no soup or salad! The rolls were very small, and when the soup (1 piece of tofu in 1/4 cup of broth) and salad (if thats what you call 1 piece of lettuce and i slice of tomato) arrived later that afternoon, I was even more disappointed. Save yourself the empty stomach and look elsewhere.
