This is one of my favorites in Midtown. The best value for your money, and the prices are really reasonable. If you are price concious, you can try the prix fixe menu. All the dishes I tried were fine. My favorite is seafood. My wife loves mixed appetizer plate (It is a huge plate!). All the staff is very helpful and kind. It can be very crowded sometimes and I'd recommend having a reservation. You can also try their delivery/takeout. I feel lucky that I live in Midtown and can order delivery all the time. And delivery guys are real fast too! :)

I ordered takeout from here last night and it came in 30 minutes, just as promised. However, the food was pretty boring. The hummus was nothing better than what you could buy at the grocery store and the lamb was bland.

Title says it all. I worked for years in the neighborhood and didn't eat here until my wife suggested it. Food is good, portions are generous, prices typical. Waitstaff are slow but friendly. Atmosphere is pleasant and background noise of other patrons is loud.

I always go here when I am craving something good to eat. My favorite is the salads which are all fresh and delicious. The fish and kebabs are just right to fill you up and very yummy. What also is great about this restaurant is that the staff are very attentive and warm. I always go back for more.

i ate here on 5/16/07. i was in a rush and i told the waiter that. we were promptly seated, and started with hummus and a yogurt it was really just the standard. nothing special AT ALL. the only thing worth mentioning is that the main entree meat portion was excellent, but still i feel like ive had middle eastern street food like that before. the food took 30 min to come out. so between our appetizers and main entree we were sitting idly. we had to rush out before dessert, and since we ordered the prixe fixe, we had to pay for the dessert anyway. kind of annoyed they didnt adjust our bill for it.

Flavorful food, quality selection, quick delivery, generous portions and great value. I order the chicken shish kebab from here once a week...

I had a reservation for 6:30 on a Tuesday. We didnt have to wait but since its a small place, it filled up quickly. I think around that time is the most popular. Two of us had the prix fixe for $19.95. Which was 3 courses and coffee or tea. We shared a bottle of dry red Turkish wine for $24. Our other friend had the lamb chops for $21.95. The portions were very satisfactory. It's a little noisy but we were still able to have a normal conversation. Its a very casual place. Everyone is so nice, especially Ulage, our waiter. Thursday and weekend evenings are usually very busy so make a reservation. There is a very good selection of dishes. I would definitely go back!
