Awesome
Great place to eat before a Broadway show. The waiters are fast, kind and good looking. The food is cooked very well and the spices are just right. You gotta have their fried liver.....it's delicious.....Enjoy.

A most inhospitable place
Last Saturday I and 2 friends went to celebrate a birthday at Akdeniz, where I'd been many times before. We arrived at 4:15 PM for our reserved table, in a nearly empty place. We had appetizers, and were half-way through our entrees when, at 5:30, a waiter (not ours) came and rudely informed us that we had 45 minutes to finish and leave. We lost our appetites. When queried about the dining time limit, we were told we'd had plenty of time to eat. If we had been allowed to eat in peace, we would've been done by 6:15. If you go, eat fast...

Best Turkish in Manhattan
I was in Turkey during 90's and fell in love with the food over there. I never thought I'd find the same thing here at home. Here this little cute place proved me wrong shish kebab, seafood and amazing salads left me thinking should I move to NY. Service was outstanding too. Try Dorado - this fish has a firm texture yet not fishy at all...

Amazing place
I have been ordering from this place for the last 6 months and couldn't be more pleased. My office colleagues and I order at least once or twice per week. The amount of amazing food you get makes the low cost even more unbelievable. They often reward you by throwing in free desserts. Try the Cacik, Hummus, Kebab, Salmon, and Mediterranean Sea Bass (ask to have it filleted). This place simply cant be beat for value, quality, and amount of food. PS: The warm bread they deliver is addicting.

Great value, great food
I went here with one of my friends last night. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers and split a Greek salad. All the appetizers we got were good, especially the hummus. The bread was warm and soft, perfect for dipping. And you can't beat the prices. Highly recommended!

Who knew?
What a great little gem! My husband and I happened upon this place last year while walking in the neighborhood. Excellent food and great prices and INCREDIBLE service. This is how you should be treated at a restaurant. We were in the neighborhood again this weekend and made sure to stop in for dinner. It was as good as we remembered! If you are in the area, it is well worth your visit.
