Best Service & Food
My 4 sisters and I met in NYC for the weekend. The Buffalo Newspaper had a travel article of NYC prefix menus in which they rated akdeniz as the best value and food. We agreed! We had 3 different appetizers, 3 meals, 4 deserts and coffee for $98 + tip (Prefix $17.95 ea.). The service was terrific - my sister went to the restroom and they replaced her napkin while she was gone! We greatly enjoyed the experience & food. The location was good. We stayed in Times Square and had tickets to an show on 50th. We were able to walk from TS to dinner and then the show. I highly recommend it. Although small, they do take reservations. Best value/food --- I agree.

Good coffee and food
I found this restaurant when me and my friend were looking for a place to eat. Once we saw Turkish, we were very interested and went in. We tried the pre-fix and enjoyed every bit of it. The coffee and dessert at the end was very good, very Turkish. The employees were very nice and attentive. We loved it! We would recommend it to everybody!

Great find...
After looking here on menupages for a place to have my friend's bday dinner, we picked akdeniz based on other reviews. We made a reservation for 8 and were seated promptly. it is a small restaurant, but they accommodated us nicely even when a 9th person joined at the last minute. Standouts were the turkish red wine, yummy bread, and appetizer plates (the mixed plate was big and delicious). The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. We all agreed that we will definitely be back.

Best Falafel
We went there for lunch (7 of us). The service was impeccable, the food excellent and the price decent. I will be sure to come back. - Try the falafel and the baklava wasn't bad either

Nice Midtown find
Ate here with four friends on a Friday night. Service was friendly and patient. Food was tasty, and the prix-fixe was a real bargain. Stand-outs were the baba ganoush, spinach/yogurt appetizer, and custard-based desserts. Room is small and plain-ish but with some attractive paintings. I'd definitely go back.

Great Delivery
Ordered for delivery from here last night. Ordered the mussel appetizer, the vine leaves, and the ground chicken skewer entree. Everything was excellent and exceedingly reasonably priced.
