This place is really good. I gotta impress my dates. The food presentation is gorgeous and elegant. Taste is wonderful. Usually some wait for a table or delivery. But so what.. ? Good thing can wait :)

My favorite Japanese place in town
Every time I have enjoyed a meal here, the food has been delicious. (And all the friends & visitors I have shared it with agree!) The service is attentive & friendly, the presentation is fine & appetizing, & the price is quite reasonable for the neighborhood. My personal faves: the mushroom soup (simple & scrumptious), the negimaki (a must for the carnivores), the age tofu (delicate & delicious) & the tempura (some of the best around). Ajisai is exactly the kind of restaurant that makes NYC a great place to enjoy a really good meal.

Excellent Lunch Special
A very comfortable, modern, nicely decorated space with booths near the back. Beautifully presented plates of fresh sushi, sashimi and decent renditions of other items on the menu. Attentive, polite service (if not overly friendly) and great prices for the good quality food.

Amazing! #1
Delivery is always very quick. Food is amazing, and surprisingly inexpensive for the area. Restaurant itself has good atmosphere and waiters are very friendly. Highly recommend

Fast delivery but $28 + tip for delivery 1 person, not enough food!
I had the crunchy salmon wonton appetizer it was only 3 small pieces. Dynamite (boring) and Philly roll (good) all for $28 plus tip. It was expensive to me considering how small the rolls are. I wanted salmon tempura but I'm still looking for a sushi place that has it and a good volcano roll. I'm in the wrong city I guess for good sushi

Food was amazing! Lunch special is not only affordable but very filling .. Great deal an amazing sushi! Spicy sauce is also a big win with two types to chose from

Great new Sushi Place!
I was very excited to try this place and they definitely exceeded my expectations. The decor is nice, nothing too over the top, but a nice place to enjoy a very yummy dinner! Pricing is great in my opinion for sushi! And the food...well it was amazing! I'm always iffy when trying a new sushi place, but their sushi was fresh and the chef rolls were creative and new, something you don't always see in NY where most rolls are typical. We will definitely be going back! We went with 7 people and they were able to accommodate us and we all LOVED our meal!
