This is a nice cute restaurant. You can tell it's clean and the food they make is fresh. It's not noisy but has cool music. The one thing which is hilarious that they always forget is fork and knife. I guess I'm used to eating lettuce with chopsticks. Will definitely go there again...maybe for lunch in an hour?

I have to agree, Aji Sushi is quite underrated... but it definitely has the best Chirashi I've had in a while.

As a newcomer to Murray Hill I've been searching almost daily for good neigborhood spots and come up mostly disappointed. But this place - I walked in because it wasn't crowded and looked like a self-respecting kind of restaurant - this place is a lovely little gem that I hope gets the loyal patronage it deserves. I was lucky enough on first visit to order what MUST be their best roll - the Spicy Triplets roll - and now I must order it every time I go because it was so tasty. It's a melt-in-your-mouth kind of situation. I do not need another local sushi place - this one will keep me happy for years. They also take special care with their simple items like a starter salad, with lovely presentation and avoidance of the standard iceberg lettuce. Thanks Aji! You give me hope!

Every sushi place is totally packed at lunch time. Except the best one. Aji has great food, great service, and great atmosphere for a great price. It's always empty despite a prime location next to Joshua Tree and 515. We try to discover other places, but we keep going back to Aji.

This place was great! I stopped in on my way home from work and, although the service was a little slow (I ordered to go), the atmosphere was great. They have a nice open window looking out onto Third Avenue and a nice little sushi bar in the back. The food was excellent as well - nothing overly creative on the menu, but their standard rolls are VERY good! Definitely a place to check out!

This is defnitely the best quality fish in Muray Hill. These guys know how to buy the best. Try the yellowtail and the sublime sea urchin- the tartares are wonderful as well. Also, the kitchen comes up with some very unique cooked dishes.

It is a small cosy place with great sushi and easy environment. Their special rolls are a must try especially their seasonal special roll. And the blue fin toro they have~~~Yummy! Everything is so fresh and new. They said they just opened this month thus everything is new! Even the plates they used look so good with the sushi. I really really enjoy going to that place. and I am definitely going back there!
