I would find a new place...
I typically order from here but lately they have gotten quite stingy -- today I called to get a chicken negimaki meal and when I asked that they make sure to include the soy sauce they informed me that there was a 50c charge given that "negimaki doesn't come with soy sauce." The whole thing was so laughable but I wasn't as amused when it didn't arrive for over 45min. Slow service at times, food is good but I would go somewhere where they actually value your business. Bottom line -- if you're a smart consumer, you'll eat somewhere else!

Very Good Service, Good Quality, Good Value
We ordered sushi deluxe and "Sex On The Beach Roll". The raw salmon tasted fresh. It felt melt right after I put into my month. The roll was good. The waitresses were very nice and attentive.

amazing
best spicy tuna in nyc. food is always fresh. fast delivery. love the starbursts on the counter when you leave. sex on the beach is amazing.

Quality and quantity at quaint hole in the wall
After reading the reviews, I went to Aji expecting good, reasonably priced food. I was surprised in that it was better than expected. I will definitely return on my next trip to the city. I had the Spicy Triplets--highly recommended. Very friendly and attentive wait staff.

Delicious, fast, generous portions
This place was a real find during our visit to NYC. The atmosphere is calm and clean- classic Japanese, the sushi was excellent, and the combination dinner for $16.95 included miso soup, steamed dumplings, California roll and an entree (in my case, ton katsu). More than I could eat, and at a fantastic price-- plus it was delicious. Highly recommended.

Great Place for Bento Box Lunch Special
I love Aji for the Chicken Katsu and Yam Tempura Rolls. Only problem is, the price has gone up by about 20% since I started going there a year ago. They charge $1.50 to subsitute the yam tempura roll for the california roll. I think $1.50 is a bit absurd for this difference. Overall, the bento box is a great deal and you leave full and happy. The staff is very friendly and service is excellent!

Would go again, when in town!
Great place! I've had great sushi before and this met or exeeded my expectations. The service was spot-on without being overwhelming. The prices were reasonble. The sushi itself was fantastic. Everything was fresh and the flavors were wonderful. The atmosphere was subdued and reserved. The portions were very genrous. I got three rolls and each had anywhere from 6-8 pieces. I could barely finish! I would recomend this place to anyone asking for good reasonable sushi in NYC. When I come back to town, it's on my list of places I like to eat again.
