Folks, I've been to this place a few times, and this I can say - Veg food consistently turns out really poor! It doesn't taste good - the vegetables don't seem to be cooked well enough, and the gravy is not the Indian curry we all love. Having said this, the non-veg food, my friends say, is above average. One more thing - I have found the staff to be not-so-friendly as in the other reviews. For example, the veg Bhindi curry was so bad I requested them to take it back - and the waiter came back to me and said 'i tasted it - there is nothing wrong - but I won't charge you for it' !!! What cheek! Other than that, it is a nice enough place to go to - music can be a little turn-off, and tad too loud.

Not the BEST but certainly not the WORST. I have been eating at Ajanta for more than 3 years and find the food to be consistently tasty and clean. The portions are generous and the staff is friendly. Good value for the money.

The food is good, not great, but it's indian, which doesn't suck all that much unless it's a truly horrible place. the service is really friendly and the delivery super reliable. i'd steer clear of the shrimp dishes though. they're made with those little frozen shrimp and only a few of them.

Good food, good service, good for take-out. I only wish it was open later :)

We're from Britain and we're proud to have Indian curry as our national dish - but we were disappointed with these dishes. Avoid the Buriani, it has no taste to it and the Lamb Buhana is more like a casserole with no spice, however this place is cheap so if your desparate for some curry stick with some good old trusted Chicken Tikka Masala, its not bad here.

I love Ajanta. It's decent, consistent fare, and the service is really sweet. The menu is a little short, but the vegetable dishes are all top-notch, and the samosas are among the best I've had. Their delivery guy is a little frowny, but that's fine, I'd prefer to interact with the in-house staff. Sometimes they'll even serve you tea while you wait for your takeout!

Very generous on portions and great price. The Chicken Marsala was very yummy! Nice 'lil date place too. The waiter was very courteous and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends.
