This is one of the poorest restaurants I have ever been to. Even after going in, had to wait for 5 minutes to be seated even though all the chairs were empty. Another 3 minute wait was for the menu! Ordered some curries and bread, the curries were nowhere close to being authentic Indian, the breads had some bad smell. I just could not eat anything here. Ended up leaving most of the stuff :(. I will never go here again.

This restaurant does a true disservice to indian food. I had the chicken vindaloo and although it was spicy it was also very very fatty. The service was so so and I felt like a burden to the people that worked there.

I called for delivery and the staff was very rude and unprofessional. Mid-call I just had to cancel the order because if they care so little for customer service, then I could only imagine how little care is put into the food.

This is one of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever seen anywhere. I stay close to this place since I am at Columbia. I went here couple of times Initially. The food is really not good, forget about being genuinely Indian. The service is rude. I never visit this place after my initial experience.

Only ever order delivery from here, so I can't comment on atmosphere or in-house service, but c'mon, the food's great. Much better than Chinese takeout in terms of how much actual meat you get on your plate, as opposed to fussy bits of veggie 'filler.' I have an all-night project to do, so I just ordered my next four meals from here.

We used to pass by this place all the time and wanted to try it. On one unfortunate day we went in, though my friend warned me about the food, i wanted to try it. We ordered appetizer platter. It was very oily and tasteless. The chutneys they gave had floating oil on it. We are indians and know how the food should be, but this was not very good. We could not even finish the appetizer. it was 6.95, we gave the waiter $9 and wanted to leave. He stated arguing and forcing us to order the main course by saying that we don't serve only appetizer, you have to eat. We were polite for 5 minutes and told him that we have to live and we don't feel like eating. But he kept arguing and we had to tell him that the food was not good and we could not eat it. We have paid for it so we want to go without saying anything further. He went mad and gave us the tip back, he came to the door and on the sidewalk yelling at us. He said he is cooking for 15 years, but we are eating Indian food for 25 years and know how it should taste. The quality of the food was not good.

I live in Harlem on the West side and don't have any Indian cuisine in my area. I was feeling under the weather and wanted to order in. I looked on menupages and was delighted to see an Indian restaurant within a 15 block radius that would deliver. When I called the man who answered was very rude and when I asked if he would deliver to me he said no. He wanted to charge me a minimum of $25 for him to consider taking my order. I told him I wanted an entree and an appetizer which would be around $20. He refused and when I asked if he wanted my business he, without hesitation said NO. I suggest if you want to be treated well you skip this place. If you want to order dinner and feel like you are unwanted....check it out.
