Good, but...
All those stars and why am I not eager to go back? Because with the exception of the pasta--which is fabulous--the food is just common variety upscale fancy food. Which is to say well-executed and well-plated portions of vaguely French fare. (Then why the Italian name?) Definitely have the $79 prix-fixe which, sad to say, is what counts as a bargain these days in NYC.

Amazing Restaurant
I went last night for dinner with my wife and we both agreed it was one of the best meals we have ever had. We are born and raised NY'ers and have been to a lot of restaurants and there are very few that can compare to the quality of food, atmosphere, and service we received last night. The head chef Chris is an amazing chef and he has a real talent. 100% will go back again.

white label burger is bangin'
stopped in for lunch today at ai fiori and was really blown away by the white label burger: huge slab of pat lefrieda beef supplemented by a ridiculously generous square of artisanal bacon, white american cheese and black tomatoes on a buttery, golden bun. it is next level, sophisticated and all around beautiful. however, not to be outdone - the pastas were superb, especially the agnelotti and the black squid ink pasta w/ scallops and squid in a lobster broth topped with crispy, browned bread crumbs. service is stellar - friendly, warm, helpful and full of smiles.
