The place is a tiny, uncomfortable hole in the wall with an overpowering mildew smell. Although service was prompt, the food was very bland and lacking ingredients. Probably the most tastless mexican food I've ever had. Dirt cheap, but still not worth it. I would never go back.

The food was your normal delicious small restaurant mexican food. Rice and beans were good, and the free salsa and chips were better than average (personally i prefer their salsa to the thicker variety at other places) The margarita was small and a weak and not appropriately priced (my girlfriend and I each had two and neither felt as though we'd had any). The view of the kitchen was unfortunate. Try not to look in there when you go to the bathroom. It will definately give you the willies. All in all, since i'm a grub I'd go back. The food was the type of Mexican I like.

I'm so glad I discovered this little hole in the wall restaurant. I like simple vegetarian Mexican dishes like cheese enchiladas, bean tostadas, and bean burritos. Ah! Chihuahua's has the best beans in the city and they aren't refried! The enchilada sauce isn't spicy, but it is flavorful. I definitely recommend for those who like Arizona/California style Mexican food.

This is the best Mexican food I've had in the city! Have also tried Mi Cocina, Rosa Mexicano, Dos Caminos, Mama Mexicana, however, Ah! Chihuahua is the REAL Mexican food - everything is made fresh - honestly felt like I was back in Texas eating Mexican food. The rice, refried beans, guacamole - $4 rather than $14 at most places - Chicken fajitas - AMAZING!

The cheese enchilada was good but everything else was not. It seems like the veggie entres were better though than the meat dishes. The chicken on my tostada was too salty and lacked flavor. The beef in my taco was really bland and greasy.

Sometimes my co-workers and I come here for el cheapo lunch specials. The portions are large and in-charge. Mel is sort of an alcoholic, and completely enjoys the frozen margaritas. Ah who am i kidding? So do i.... sigh
