I use menupages at least once a day for one reason or another. This weekend was no different. My wife and I were starved and it was late 10:00pm where could we get a bite in the hood that was still open? Got on menupages and found this place. They seemed nice on the phone and it was Mexican - how can you mess that up - few simple ingredients right - wrong! They delivered a little of the blue and a little of the yellow. The beans were all mush and the rice was clumped together still as if it were Thai sticky rice. Comiacal to say the least.

As I first walked up to the storefront I became concerned about our decision to eat here. I enter to what was a quaint little Mexican Eatery that would far exceed my expectations. First we were promptly given a basket of tortilla chips, and salsa. I enjoyed these quite a bit. The salsa was not thick which I prefer and tasted fresh which I like. Next I ordered a lunch special that included A Burrito, Enchilada, Tostada, and a taco. I also asked for a serving of Guacamole for the chips. The guacamole came...and it was out of this world. Perfectly seasoned and made with ripe avocados. I love it. Finally came the meal. I ate the taco first since tacos become soggy when the sit too long, it was good. As was the tostada which was made with beans. The Burrito was better, and was accented by the mole sauce. But the best thing I have ever had in a Mexican place was this enchilada! It was prefect. Great flavor with the cheese, and the Mole was so good mixed with this. Subsequently I have gone back and all I ever order are the enchiladas with mole and a side of guacamole. It is one of my favorite dishes in a restaurant. Also extremely affordable especially at lunchtime.

Solid spot for a mid-day Mexican fiesta. This place has an awesome divey atmosphere; between the CD constantly cranking out some of the finest pop classics that Mexico has to offer, and the pinatas, sombreros, and miniature pueblos adorning the walls, I feel like I am on vacation. The food is really great too. It is authentic and excellent for the low price point. The service is attentive and excellent as well. I want to have my kid's birthday party here. Mess we can!

I was worried about this place because it looks kind of like a dive, but after my wife and I got some delivery...worry no more! These were some of the best enchiladas I have ever had and the delivery was FAST (10 minutes). Don't be afraid to try it out, I know I'll be ordering here a lot in the future.

Sorry guys but this place is a DIVE. The margaritas are shockingly sweet and tasting of artificial margarita mix. Unable to get a buzz on I forged ahead into my meal SOBER. Let me step back and say that the chips and salsa tasted like a they opend a large can of "salsa" and poured it into the dipping bowl. The chips were mildly stale and uninspired. My dinner, however, was crap. $11 for what tasted (and looked) like a frozen dinner fresh from the microwave. This is really a "don't bother" situation. The staff on the other hand was nice and attentive. Too bad no one is really running the kitchen to raise it to the next level, or to a level that justifies the prices - and the prices a realtively cheap!! Ouch!!

I was really looking forward to a hearty, cheesy, yummy burito. Instead I got a tiny burito, filled only with ground beef. Nothing else. Likewise for the taco- soggy with ground beef. No cheese, sour cream or pico. Very disappointing
