    Too much attention

I have to say the place was exciting to go to. New food, new drinks! I had a good time and loved the salmon ceviche and loved the barbecued chicken. It was very fresh and good quality meat. I was told it was organic. Altough I am always skeptical. The only thing that rubbed me the wring way was when my food took a bit long to come appear. I wasn't angry, but my nervous waiter, who was obviously new, had the manager come over and try and fox the problem that was not there. I ended up getting some compensated dishes and was forced to listen to a long, schmoooozy, apology. They were a bit too in your face. At that point I just wanted to eat. I was also worried about the waiter. He was very quiet after that and a bit shaky. Maybe he got a stern talking to. I hope not, cause he was cute up until management had to rub their face all in my night out. Recommendation: Do not try so hard to impress. Other than that...yumm!

looks pretty but not worth the $

The waiters are excessively fawning and helpful to a fault, though I suppose that can be excused because they are trying to work out the kinks of this 3 week old restaurant. The appetizers include the guacamole which is a 1/2 cup worth of nothing outstanding yet costs 11 dollars. The meat dishes are fine but again the price point for the quality and lack of much in the way of sides seems more than excessive. The nicest quality is the decor. But for this neighborhood, if their prices were at least 20% lower it would justify repeat visits. Even the special pomegranate mojito isnt so special.

    Just Okay

The decor at this restaurant is nice. Its modern with a touch of class, without being overly pretentious. The staff are diverse in shape, look and race; which is a surprisingly rare, even in cosmopolitan city like NY. Food and plating were just okay. Nothing special or stand out. It is a nice addition to the neigbourhood, but I doubt I'll come back or recommend it to any of my friends.

    Great new spot!

First of all, entering this place is almost like being in a another city like Miami or someplace tropical. It has a real refreshing, modern feel with light blue and green tones. Gorgeous decor. There is also seating downstairs in a sexy, more intimate room. The servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offering enthusiastic suggestions. The food was terrific. I especially enjoyed the tuna appetizer and the churrasco is to die for - this is a must have!! I can see this spot becoming trendy, which is great for Hell's Kitchen. They have a beautiful bar area, open ceviche counter and serve food until 3:30AM. Definitely worth checking out!

Beautiful interior, food needs to step it up

I suppose one should give a restaurant at least a few months to work out its kinks before trying it out. My friend and I came here for dinner last night without any expectations. With the beautiful decor and excellent service, we were disappointed in the bland guacamole (for $11, I can get a much more flavorful guac across the street.) The portions are decent. The seafood stew was flavorful but it was more of an appetizer than an entree. Would suggest that the menu be expanded to more than just about 8 items. I would be interested to see how this place matures in a year
