Agony Meze!!
Something is seriously wrong in this place. Incredibly rude waitress. You can find many good Greek restaurants in Astoria and Manhattan where the food is equally good, but where you’ll be treated politely and enjoy your evening. Don’t waste your money in this place. (I should have paid attention to previous reviews!)

Never going back
Has definitely gone down hill. Waited 1/2 hour for appetizer to arrived. Main course was so small. I got the last serving from the pan with very little meat. There are so many great places in the neighborhood , there is no need to put up with this kind of service.

Great Mediteranean Food
For a place this good it can be very empty sometimes. A friend and I went to dinner and were the only ones there. Great for when you are looking for some delicious mediterranean food without a long wait or high prices.

very nice
Very nice quality and the menu looks authentic. There are some regional specialties on the menu I did not see anywhere else in Bay Ridge. Good service: attentive, but not cloying; a waiter is always within reach if one wants a waiter. My only two complaints are the quantity of oil in some meat dishes (people, heat up the frying pan properly before dropping stuff into oil) and the fact that last summer I got a pretty bad case of food poisoning there. But no restaurant is guaranteed against a chance food poisoning and I've been to this place multiple times, both before and after, with no ill effects. This place is especially nice on a summer evening, later at night, with its French windows open, and a light breeze swooshing the ends of the embroidered table cloths.

we are so lucky we live nearby
This place is so good - warm atmosphere, warm and satisfying food, it is good for a date night or to bring (and impress) people in from out of town or visiting the 'hood, and it's even fairly family friendly (within reason - it's still a nice place). The food is awesome, although it's easy to get carried away and end up with a big bill (for a lot of food, though) - and service is very warm although so relaxed you shouldn't plan on eating and running - it's a place to kick back and enjoy.
