It is a perfect spot to do work, or just chill down. It is very not a NYC spot, so if you are fan of unfriendly and expensive spots, definitely not a place for you.

Place is just ok, at best. Service was very poor, I almost felt like I was an inconvenience for being there. Desserts were good, but everything else was microwaved.

Just when I thought there weren't going to be any cafes I'd want to sit in for long periods of time, Agnanti opened up last year. The Greek coffee and Frappes are great, hot and cold and the American style coffee is top rate. But this place is so much more that just a coffee shop. The panini sandwiches, made fresh to order are delicious and high quality. The baked Greek delicacies are spot on - Boreks, Spanikopita, Kolokithopita - all phenominal and the Baklava (and I am very picky about Baklava) was seriously the best I have ever had. If you are looking for a nice little neighborhood cafe in Astoria, this is it. And if you want it to be an authentic Greek cafe, this is definitely it. And it's very reasonably priced for everything. I know it sounds like I'm raving a little bit but that's because, even though I'm not Greek, I grew up around this kind of food, drink and atmosphere and can appreciate when it's done right. The best coffee and treats during the day. A great chill out spot for wine and beer at night, right by Astoria Park. Top spot.
