Went to aged for drinks and dessert. Awesome desserts, great atmosphere to enjoy a few adult beverages. The service was good.

Don't know why such animosity. Food was good, wine was good, service was charming, ambiance is pretty. Because it gets such lackluster reviews it wasn't crowded on a Saturday night. Which meant we weren't crowded or rushed. It was unpretentious and totally pleasant. I've had lunch there several times, and Friday night drinks, and it's always a nice neighborhood place. I wouldn't go out of neighborhood to eat here, but if you can walk there and don't feel like a scene, it's great!

If you've got time to kill, by all means go especially if you like your food on the salty side. Came on a Thursday night and were they out of many wines. Service moved at a snails pace and probably the poorest steak, mash and creamed spinach I've had in the city. Definitely won't be coming back.

We've been to Aged three times. The first was for brunch and the food was disappointing. The omelette was overlooked for both of us. The second time was much better, dinner was great and the service was excellent. We thought ok, maybe it really isn't a brunch place.we went a third time with friends and decided maybe the second visit was an anomaly. Waitress had a bit of an attitude, seemed offended when we asked of they still had the prix fixe. Steaks were unevenly cooked with mine raw in some parts and overcooked in others. When we told the waiteress our meat was undercooked she told us that is what we ordered. She should be telling us you are right I'll fix it.

Our main course was served before we had a chance to finish our appetizers. The food was served cold including the sauces for the steak. The waiter clearly wanted to turn the table which has turned us off from ever returning.

Having had their fixed priced lunch many times (includes complimentary glass of wine), I have to say it is one of the best deals on the UWS. Nice appetizer, soup or salad paired with an equally nice entree (there are quite a few choices) I am always pleased with the meal. The wait staff is always attentive and sitting at or near the front of the restaurant provides a great atmosphere. I'll continue to go there often.

Me and my family went to Aged for brunch, everything was mediocre until the check arrived, the waiter decided to add 30% tip to the check, simply because we were 5 people. When we decided to leave only the regular 18% tip, he had the audacity to come back to the table and say that the tip is not enough. It felt as if he is trying to steal money from us... To be clear, no where on the menu it stated that the gratuity will be added to the check. Needless to say, my family and myself will not be going back.
