Great Mexican Find in NY- Thank god
Let's be honest , you can count the number of good mexican restaraunts in NY on one hand and Agave happens to be one of them! The margaritas are sensational, the lobster, mango and pico quesedilla is a MUST- The atmosphere is also delightful and very soothing.

Great experience
Had a blue lime-passionfruit margarita......to die for! (actually had two) :-) The blue tortilla chips w/ the salsa verde that's served while you're waiting for your food is awesome..the salsa verde has a different taste than any other salsa verde i've ever tried. I got a sqash blosson taco w/ chicken...also very tasty. Loved the decor...clean white walls, w/ wood trimmings and candles everywhere. Very nice romantic dining....definitely good for dates, and also w/ big group of friends. Didn't get to have dessert, cos I was way too full w/ after eating the tortillas and my entrees....but after seeing the dessert menu, definitely want to come back for some vanilla creme brulee! Definitely recommend Agave..the service is really good, people are very accomadating.

Unbelievable Margaritas & Shortribs!
Celebrated a girlfriend's birthday at Agave, and was blown away! Beautiful white walls and stunning wood throughout. Lisa was great and kept the margaritas flowing. Our eclectic group of Atkins-freaks and vegetarians found more than enough options. We'll be back!
