Constant Craving
I just have to have my Spinach Palau and Rice. No other nationality can cook rice like this--the spice flavour is sensational. Served with Warm Bread and that Yogurt Sauce. Can't live without it. They could be cleaner and more hygenic. Also they should strain the water out of veggies before serving. Nothing like a bowl of spinach half filled with water. Other than that, the food is great.

Always great delivery
I get delivery from here once every 10 days or so. It is fast, cheap, and really tasty. The three sauces that they serve with the kebabs are fantastic.

The one in the 50's is a lot better
Had the fish kebab and it was rubbery. The rice was still yummy and the fried scallion turnovers were quite tasty. However, the afghan kebab house in the 50s has suculent fish kebabs, more flavorful rice and bigger portions. Didnt try the chicken or beef kebabs at this one but they are fabulous at the other one as well. Dont get the okra as a ide, it's soggy and watery.

Great Place & Delivery
This place is really great. I love their chicken breast kebab and their dumplings with mint yogurt. Very quick delivery service. BYOB in the restaurant can't be beat. Love it.

Give it a shot
We went last night and really enjoyed it. The ambiance is interesting and unique, and we all enjoyed our food. The rice is delish and my beef and chicken kabobs were so good, I'm still craving more. I did not enjoy the lamb as much, so I'll stick with chicken and beef next time. The bread is ho-hum. Found myself wishing for naan, but wrong country (similar flavors though). And the dinner salad was wonderful with this creamy dill dressing. The service was good and unobtrusive, but don't go if you're in a rush. I'm looking foward to going back.

Yum
I went here for the first time this weekend, and was very pleasantly surprised! I got the combo kebab, and was absolutely delicious! The rice is so tasty. Great value, a very nice change from the numerous overpriced restaurants in the upper east side. Be aware that they don't serve alcohol, so you should bring your own. No charge at all, just bring whatever booze you want to enjoy during dinner!! I'll definitely be back.

Excellent overall
A very good place. The kebobs are excellent, rice is great and the yogurts are a must. The flavored tea might be the best tea I have ever had. And I don't even like tea usually! One of the best overall places for the food and the reasonable price.
