The spinach appetizar and salad are enough to make me want to go back!

a bit pricey but worth the extra money. Their sauces (green & red) are the best!

Not like the one on the West side!!
Very disappointed to find out the Afghan Kabob Houses I and II do not resemble each other. We love the Chicken Kabuli Palow from Ninth Ave., but when I found myself on the UES, I tried this one. The raisins were uncooked from the box, portions smaller, and the rice just didn't have the same harmony of flavors. Don't make the mistake I did!

Very tough lamb and small portions
We were expecting great things after seeing the wonderful reviews. We were so disappointed. The lamb chunks "kebab" were overcooked and tough, almost uncut-able! the dumplings were 4 tiny fried lumps. there was 1 server and no busboy to service the whole restaurant on a sunday evening! i do not recommend this restaurant.

Great time, will go back
This place was amazing, the service was great, the food was tasty and flavorful. You can bring your own wine. It's very authentic and you really feel like you're in Afghanistan. I'll def go back. The prices are unbeatable.

Never Go Wrong
Fantastic food, great service and even if it wasn't a BYOB it would have great prices, but the fact that it is a BYOB makes it even better. I can't wait to go again tonight. Just made reservations for the family.

Great place
This restaurant is BYOB. The food is delicious. I have eaten here over 10 times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended
