They read this blog!
Got delivery from here last night. They have increased their portion sizes massively. Probably larger than what I had 3 years ago. Food was great, very tender lamb. I entree could feed 2! I have a yummy lunch today ..

Still # 1 on my cell phone
I lived in the neighborhood for 13 years. Afghan Kabob was by far my favorite delivery in the area. I'm sure I ordered from them at least once a week. Food was always fresh, hot and delicious!! Very quick on delivery times. All friends and family who came to visit insisted on at least one meal during their stay. Anyway, got married a year and a half ago, moved 45 miles north of the city. Tonight, my hubby surprised me....he was in the city and brought home Afghan Kebob. Amazing. I was so happy. Still as delicious as I remembered. Extra red sauce in abundance! I highly recommend, and miss it terribly!!

best Kebab in manhattan
I always look forward to my trips to manhattan, because i know i will stop by Afghan kebab house for the best Kebab in Manhatan. I love their lamb kebab as it is so tender you can use your fork to cut it ans no smell, as lamb is eith good or bad and this is always good. would also try the Chicken and Beef kebab as it s alo tender, and they have a mixed grill which showcases all of their kebabs, try the Pilau (rice) as it has carrots, raisins and almonds mixed in it.

I agree - small portions
This is not expensive food or fine cuisine but this place has started to cut corners. Portions are smaller, they replaced fresh bread with Pita, and let's be honest it's not exactly a high-end room. This place should be an affordable kebab house, what it used to be!

Not a good deal
Some of the meats are tasty but mix grill is about $20 and not enough food for one person. There was no special bread - it came with pieces of pita bread. No rice so just not filling. When this place opened you would get a feast for a steal, now it is a typical midtown hustle.
