Poor customer service
I called and placed an order and got three orders of some other food (not what I ordered), when I called back they told me that is what I ordered and refused to credit my card or fix the order. Poor service. Dinner was ruined two thumbs down I love the one on second avenue. It is a shame they don't deliver to the west side

A few things would make this place better
I have no problems with the food here, as it is quite good, but they could do some very simple things to make it more enjoyable and be more successful at the same time. First, we went for lunch on a Sunday and there were very few people eating here. They had the lights dimmed very low, which is not a problem at night, but it does not really work on a Sunday for lunch. It just makes the place seem tired and not at all inviting. Second the service was not very good. Everyone who ate there had to flag down the waitress for everything... to order, to get the check, to get change. And the waitress never came back to see if everything was ok. Customers were obviously slighty annoyed.

Phenomenal
I've been ordering from this place for years and the chicken breast kebab is so slamming. You just can't go wrong.

Average bland budget food
Lamb kebab and lamb korma were bland. The kebab was tough. The bread is good. The eggplant appetizer had undercooked chickpeas. Good prices and BYOB, though.

OK food horrible service
Ordered chicken wings but they were dry. Entrees ordered were lamb and beef kebabs. It was ok, but honestly i think Persian restaurants make better kebabs. And they offer more on the plate other than just rice and kebabs. The service was bland and not helpful whatsoever. And the table we were sitting on was slanted. I expected more.

Slamming Food
Simply- the lamb is marinated and to dye for when cooked. The hummus is so tasty and creamy and I don't want to ask how they cook the rice because it's so yummy too. If you are vegan, their grilled vegetables are season and cooked till they burn the skin which gives them a crispy skin. So good. Make sure your speak clearly when ordering over the phone. Slight language barrier but no big deal.

Its still good!
The food is excellent! I just can't get enough. However, the food is quite expensive. I tried ordering on the phone once, but the line is always busy! Sometimes I get soggy kebabs.
