Kabili Palow
My wife and I have been dining in Afgan restaurants for 25 years and were totally disappointed in our entrees. The salad looked like it was drained from the ocean the rice which was supposed to cover the lamb was almost nonexistant and the ingredients, several raisens no nuts and carrots were sharing the plate with the salad. To top off this disaster was a piece of bread all this piled on a plate to produce a most unappitising display. Never again..

Quiet, Good, and Economical
I came here and had the lamb kebab lunch special. The lamb was cooked and spiced very well. The rice was delicious and so was the bread that came with it. Service was great as well. Friendly and attentive but also did not constantly bug you--I cannot stand a waiter constantly coming to your table. And finally, the coffee they have is AMAZING. Seriously, even though it's rather small, for some reason I honest-to-God felt great mentally after drinking it. The flavor is incredible. The decor and atmosphere seems quite authentic as well--you can tell whoever runs the place actually cares about Afghan culture, and the quality of its cuisine. Thanks for the experience; I will be back soon

Hidden charge
Huge amount of food... the chicken kabob was cooked brilliantly but it was overseasoned with clove. What they fail to mention until your food arrives is an ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $2 PER LUNCH ENTREE FOR DELIVERY.

Best Afghan in midtown west
excellent food and taste. would describe the food as a much cleaner, higher quality middle eastern food compared to the halal food trucks on 53rd st. ordered over 10 times delivery. never had to wait longer than expected. highly recommended!

Tiny Resturant Decent Food
I ate here last summer and really enjoyed the food. The dinner menu is moderately priced but the cuisine is authentic. The owner even sat down with us after dinner it was a Sunday and the crowd was dying down. We asked the owner about Kabul and life in Afghanistan. We really enjoyed our dining experience.

Best Afghan in this area
This is one of my fav Afghan places in midtown. The food is really tasty especially the spicy chicken with rice. It's what I order on those staying in nights...yum.
