My husband and I walked into Aegean last night on a whim. We live in the area but had yet to visit this restaurant as it has turned over a few times since we moved to the neighborhood. The place was packed (perhaps thanks to the recent Groupon deal we did not have) and we didnt have a reservation, but the host sat us down regardless and the service, food and price were all phenomenal. We will definitely be going back with or without a Groupon!

We've lived in the low 90s for the last couple years and have eaten at Aegean (previously Marmara, previously ... something else, can't remember the name) many times. The food is consistently good -- not phenomenal, but certainly not bad. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the wine list has good choices, and they have a lot of choices on the menu. We've bought some of their Groupon and Amazon Local deals, which are nice -- basically you get a bottle of wine, 2 appetizers, and 2 entrees for the price of the two entrees plus tax. Well worth it, but we started going before we got the coupons and will continue after we've used them all. The place is quiet and inviting. Just an overall good experience.

We went to dinner with another couple, and all four of us were delighted with the evening. Not only was the food delicious and fresh but also we were fortunate to enjoy an outstanding belly dancer. I was particularly impressed by the grilled salmon dish as well as the shrimp casserole. Even appetizers such as grape leaves and cacik were remarkable.

We received a few menus for this place with a 20%off coupon and decided to give it a try. We ended up with soggy and greasy food that looked nothing like the description on the menu (all delivered in a soggy bag...). Also, they took about 45 minutes to deliver and did not honor coupon. We're not even foodies, but the overall experience and the food were very poor.

I love Mediterranean food, so my boyfriend and I decided to try their $13.95 two course brunch that includes sangria. It was awesome. We has hummus and eggplant salad as starters then a lamb burger and omelet as entrees. They both came with fries that were battered and fantastic. The service was great too. We'll definitely be back for dinner and more brunches.

I moved to UES few weeks ago. I was looking for nice and affordable place where I could have healthy and tasty meals. I am so glad I have found this place. They have great menu and considering ingredients they using it is very affordable. I had my favourite Tabuleh for lunch followed by Cheese Pastries. The last one was especially delicious. I can not wait to try more of theirs dishes. Atmosphere was very relaxing music not to loud, nice and professional service. Highly recommended.

very good, authentic turkish food, although there is some inconsistency across dishes. fish, lahmacun, kebabs, manti some the appetizers were quite good. service was also excellent
