Idly dosa chutney sambar was too good. Pongal was not up to the mark. Vada is too good. Coffee not bad at all.

Great, fresh South Indian. Love the combo meals. Great value too. Welcome addition to the east side!

This is a nice addition to the neighborhood. The food tastes authentic and I have eaten here several times already. I will definitely recommend this restaurant. The new owners are still working out the kinks in the system--the ambiance is spare and service can be slow. It's located in the middle of the block between 58 and 59 street and is easy to miss because the signage is not very clear. The people who run it are warm, friendly and accommodating.

This is a great little restaurant. The food is always good, the atmosphere is warm and down-to-earth and the service is always thoughtful and kind. My husband and I love this place and lucky for us it's vegetarian, too!

A very nice addition to the neighborhood with great food and excellent service. Their sambar is pretty authentic and service is pretty quick. They are a bit handicapped due to absence of a visible signage and do not have too many Indian restaurants nearby. Hence please spread the word around and give it a try....

I tried the Rasam vadai, plain dosa and rava masala dosa. All were great. It is a family owned establishment who cannot be rushed. So, make sure you have time when you go there to get freshly made food.
