Adrienne's Pizza Bar
Posted by Chiseled on 03/09/2007
Adrienne's has very good pizza, but the price is a bit high. I work in the area and often pick up a few slices which works out great, however if you ever decide to eat in, boy is it cramped. Tables are on top of each other and it's just too small of a space for the amount of people. Forget about ordering, takes too long. If your close by it's def worth picking up a few slices on the go.

Simply the best pizza in the city, not the typical slice, in fact can't buy slices, try the Old Fashioned and all the toppings I have tried are excellent.

The atmosphere at Adrienne's is nice, a bit noisy. I had the eggplant parmesan (pick up) from Adrienne's. It was okay, nothing special. My neighbor loved their pizza. I have tried to order a pizza for delivery from Adrienne's on 4 separate nights. Every time I was told a 2 hour wait and the service left a lot to be desired. What's up with their service? I can get a pizza from Lombardi's in Little Italy in 20 min. and for less (with pleasant phone service too).

I just discovered this place last night, and all I have to say is wow. This is some of the best pizza I've had ever, and I consider myself an expert. Service was good, the atmosphere is great, you can't beat stone street with it's charm. I am moving out of NYC in two days, and I'm sad to leave this place behind. I will definitely go back when I visit.

Let's face it, the previous reviewer doesn't know jack. If you don't want to spend $20 for good pizza and a coke, go back to Iowa or wherever you're from. Adriennes is a reliable and consistant good place to go. I live and work close by and have never had a bad meal. Their pizza isn't the run of the mill NY pizza which is a refreshing thing to see.

Let's face it, mediocre pizza and a 10 ounce pop shouldn't set you back a 20 spot! You can find better pie (and hold the pretense) at a number of parlors within a 3 minute walk of this joint. That is, if you don't mind being served immediately, spending less than $5, or dining w/o exposed brick.
