Adrienne's Pizza Bar

I went here last Friday for dinner. I love the place, very cute for the FD, but I have to say the service was not good. We waited about 45 minutes for our pizza, for which the waiter explained our ticket was lost and he didn't remember what we had ordered. Then after requesting our bill twice we were given the wrong check. It just seems like the people who work there don't care much about thier job or thier customers. They seemed happier to sit around and chat with each other. Anyway the pizza was pretty good and the salad with nut and blue cheese was delicious. I'm sure to go back because frankly there aren't too many options down here.

I love this place. I've eaten in and had delivery about 10 times in the past 6 months, and every time has been great. The old fashioned pizza is the best, and the service has always been gracious and friendly. The restaurant is boisterous and fun, full of happy people. True, delivery can take time, but it's always worth the wait. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

And forget about delivery. I order weekly same day same time delivery and it has never been on time. The pizza is usually cold or over cooked and once they even gave my salad to someone else and didnt adjust the bill.

The pizza is excellent but I will never eat there again. The waiter and hostess were beyond rude. The hostess barely acknowledged us and the waiter was outright obnoxious when we only ordered 1 pie for the 5 of us. We overheard him complaining about us. Then he had the nerve to tack on an automatic tip of 20%...they are only supposed to do that with parties of 6 or more. I can understand that they do that for larger parties but 15% would be reasonable. In my opinion, 20% is a bit presumptuous.

I am a frequent customer and was also upset about delivery. I order twice a week at least and could not understand why the phone would constantly just ring like know one was picking up the phone. I never had a mistake on the order, would have to call back often to get someone on the phone though. I spoke to the manager and understand that since Dec, they are have phone problems that have not been corrected. This means that they do not know if a customer is calling or not. They are currently looking into correcting this extremely negative issue. He had explain they have 2 people working the phones and 3 delivery men working each nite. There is only soo much they can do.... I now have a better understanding of their issues and he has assured me that they will be corrected. Theres no doubt the food is the best.

The food is great, but the service, particularly delivery, is poor! The other reviewers were right about the telephone issue. They refuse to answer half the time. When they do decide to answer, they do so with much attitude. Owners/managers, pay attention and fix this problem. I called for delivery just one week ago and was tempted to stop ordering from this place for good. The pizza is among the best I've tasted, but the attitudes of the staff leave much to be desired. This I find to be true of dining in the restaurant as well. It's not nearly as bad, of course, but still not what it should be.

As others have stated, the food is excellent, worth the hastle for the most part. Delivery is always a lengthy experience. One night, I received something different than I had ordered and instead of being helpful and apologetic, they were rude and difficult although they finally did end up bringing me what I had originally ordered. Yet I still order from here because the food is so good. The service is pretty bad though, it would be in the owners/managers best interest to work on this!
