Adriatic Italian Restaurant

This seems like New York pizza at its best. They have a nice dining room in the back where I've eaten a few times. The prices are reasonable, but the entrees are only average.

The chicken parm sandwich here is one of the best in the city. The pizza is also excellent. And the staff are very nice and hospitable. It is a cozy, no-frills restaurant that is perfect for a casual night out.

Great food for the most part but they frequently get the order wrong...it got to a point that i go there instead of delivery. last night I got broccoli instead of stuffed mushrooms and marsala instead of florentine. This is a consistent problem. By the way, i have eaten inthe dining room and the service is not bad there.

Adriatic Italian Restaurant use to give great portions of food. Now, like the rest of Manhattan, it has become less and less like it's former self. The food is still a good bang for the buck, but because I know what this restaurant use to serve. portion wise, it does not add up. I guess the Yuppies complained that Adriatic was wasting too much food by giving so much to the customer. Too bad they listened because now instead of getting two chicken cutlets you get one for the same price.

If good, wholesome, traditional Northern Italian staples served with a smile and some good, cheap wine is what you're looking for than this is the place! No, it's not the 5-star ambience you'll find in other parts of the city but the food is great, the menu is huge and the prices are very reasonable. Have been here twice in the past month and plan to come back shortly.

I read the reviews and had high expectations. Unfortunately when my pesto gnocci arrived it was so oily it hardly resembled pesto. It was more like an alfredo, and was so bland, I didn't see the point of finishing it.

I ordered from this place after reading the MenuPages reviews, hoping they were true and expecting Pizza Parlor quality food. Well, MenuPages was right on. Had the Chicken Marsala and salad, both were restaurant quality and very tasty. I'm signing this place up as a regular.
