    Get it together

This is the perfect place to eat if you want good food and aggravation. If you don't mind getting your bread with the check (literally) then this place is for you. If you love to order the same drink three times and still not get it, you're in luck here. We finally gave up and stopped trying.

    Best I have had

Me and my boyfriend went to acqua yesterday christmas eve and the food as well as the service was fantastic! I recommend the salmon for dinner and the warm chocolate cake with vanilla gelato for dessert. You will not be disappointed.

    They have a lovely Pizza

I am been coming to Acqua for more that two years. Lovely food and atmosphere. I am so happy that they have built an wood burning oven. The food is excellence. TRY!

    Best in the neighborhood!

I have lived on the Upper West Side for 15 years and I travel to Italy on a regular basis so I am quite familiar with real Italian cuisine. Acqua is my favorite neighborhood restaurant, because it provides consistently tasty Italian food at an incredible value. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I think Acqua is one of the Upper West Side's undiscovered treasures.

But what they had was tasty!

I've been here a few times for lunch and had brunch there this weekend. What they managed to serve us was delicious and presented nicely. But they had no juice. Or bread. Or, even, other customers. And really, it's hard to have a restaurant with none of these things.

    Neighborhood regular

Simple and hearty Italian, it just hits the spot. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and inviting. I'll be going back for years to come.

    I will never forget it.

While reading menus on the street a lady offered to show us some choices in the neighborhood. With 4 adults and 3 kids (5-9 years old) we needed a place with that wasn't too uptight. We found it here. The service was great and friendly. When the kids got too loud my friend made eye contact with a staff member and he immediately said "Don't worry about it." My fish was maybe the best I have ever had. We all left there very happy. As a tourist in New York it one of my best experiences ever.
