The food is great here but it's a shame that all I remember is the obnoxious order taker over the phone. Please hite someone who don't think she's too good for the job.

Pizza was halfway decent after waiting over an hour for it and then having to scoop it out of the box, because it was mangled beyond recognition. I almost tossed it in the garbage, but I managed to unroll the slices and reheat.....OY..never again from this place.

My husband and I were seeing a show at Shymphony Space and wanted a restaurant close to the venue. We were visitors to NYC so we wanted to eat at a "real" Italian restaurant. The service was slooow but sort of friendly. The food was not worth the price. My sea bass was very thin (it looked like tilapia) and didn't even have a nice crusty skin on it. Worst of all, it was frozen. The table was sticky. I don't understand how this restaurant can have so many positive reviews. Aykm?

I called over to see if they delivered for lunch. The person who answered the phone kept saying "what" or pausing for long periods of time making me think that we were disconnected. Eventually they hung up on me. When i called back thinking it may be a bad connection, they just said "Hello Acqua" and hung up on me 2 more times. I called back to speak with a manager. They had someone else answer and they told me the manager wasn't in and refused to tell me the manager's name. I'd been there about a month earlier and had poor, rude service from our waiter who refused to do anything when my husband's food arrived cold. The manager defended the waiter but gave us a free dessert - which we didn't want or eat. Poor service. It's a shame because their food is generally pretty good but I refuse to give them my money ever again to be treated rudely.

The food is amazing, sometimes the service is great and sometimes their service is the worst, you just have to talk slowly and repeat your order several times. Never call in for delivery, they are the worst, they put you on hold for a long period of time (for me it was between 3 minutes and the last time was 5, I stayed on just to tell them off), when you do get your food, that is if you get it, it might not have everything you ordered and it will be cold. The worst part of the experience this is the best food on the west side...

Pleasant homey unpretentious. A pleasure for a casual meal. Good food.

Just moved to neighborhood and already find my cozy Italian spot! It is delicious homemade pasta specials and thin crust pizza. After a long day at work somewhere I find a peace and good food! Very reasonable prices.
