Great restaurant, amazing neighborhood
I went there with a girl, and everything was pretty nice, we ordered spedino of mozzarella, special gnocchi and pizza, the food was very fresh and the garden is AMAZING, very nice staff, cordial and always smiling, good selection of wine, finally they offer me a typical italian liquor, definitely i will come back.

i went there 10 day ago and i found the same menu as last time, 2 years ago, each situation is worsened , the bread was old, no draft beers, seafood mediocre and definitely frozen, the only good thing was the service, nice guys very "williamsburg" style.

What's the rush
After many years of avoiding this place I went with friends in January. It was a slow night so maybe that is why we felt rushed. The waiter kept coming over to ask if we were done. They even took my friends drink away while she was in the ladies room. SHE was not finished. The food is mediocre at best. Go elsewhere

Best Pizza in Brooklyn
I don't know what these other reviews are talking about. Acqua Santa makes the best pizza in Brooklyn. The outdoor garden is great, but the inside was always very pleasant and quiet. Now they have a new bar inside which looks amazing. Try the Ballerina pizza.

always enjoyable
I have eaten at AS 5 times now - and each time I have been very very pleased. The food is delicious - particularly the gnocci and the steak, and only once did we have service that was slightly lacking - I was suprised to read the other postings here...

Shocked
I was here dining over the weekend and was enjoying my meal until the loud obnoxious owner reprimanded the waitress in the middle of the dining room in a horrible manner. It made me want to leave immediately. The garden is nice, but don't be deceived the place is run by a tyrant and the food is mediocre Italian.
