    Best Pizza in Brooklyn

I don't know what these other reviews are talking about. Acqua Santa makes the best pizza in Brooklyn. The outdoor garden is great, but the inside was always very pleasant and quiet. Now they have a new bar inside which looks amazing. Try the Ballerina pizza.

    always enjoyable

I have eaten at AS 5 times now - and each time I have been very very pleased. The food is delicious - particularly the gnocci and the steak, and only once did we have service that was slightly lacking - I was suprised to read the other postings here...

    Shocked

I was here dining over the weekend and was enjoying my meal until the loud obnoxious owner reprimanded the waitress in the middle of the dining room in a horrible manner. It made me want to leave immediately. The garden is nice, but don't be deceived the place is run by a tyrant and the food is mediocre Italian.

    Good Atmosphere, Mediocre Food

Had dinner here last night, and althoughI really like AS's outdoor area, the food was disappointing. The bread wasn't fresh, and their pesto was decent, but not what I was expecting.

    Only sit outside!

the ONLY reason you'd go to acqua santa is to have dinner in the outdoor garden. sitting inside is like dining during a metallica concert: loud, annoying and abrasive (not romantic). the food, it can be hit or miss. the appetizers are generally good, especially if the stuffed zucchini blossoms are available during the summertime. the pastas? nothing particularly exciting, though the eggplant lasagna with the bechamel sauce is quite good; my dining companion once called it "the italian version of mac & cheese." service is spotty and the bread is pretty abysmal considering they make pizza. this used to be one of my favorite italian places in WB, but now...i don't even bother.

    meh..

food was ok..the service was poor considering we were the only ones at the restaurant and it was during the normal 7-9pm designated dinner time. the staff was watching some game in the back and played really awkward music in the dining room. i don't think i'll return. i felt weird the entire time and couldn't wait to get out of there.

    Average Edible Italian

The food is nothing special. Honestly if it wasn't for the location of this place I am not sure it would be as successful as it is.
