    I'm a regular

I'm a regular here; I absolutely loved Acqua's previous incarnation as Quartino. I'm a little skeptical of the changes -- the menu, while bigger, is also more complicated and the new decor has lost some charm. But the food is still very good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Just don't take my table.

    Hip and Casual Local Italian

We live in the area and were trying to find that local Italian restaurant with a good dish of pasta. We found it at Acuqa. It's a great hip and casual cozy place to go for Italian if you live in the area, or take friends/family to who are visiting.

    delicous healthy italian home cooking

The food is really delicious and isn't heavy but you feel satisfied when you leave. It all tasted very fresh and seemed well prepared. It's all organic and made with fresh produce and olive oil. It is not your typical italian pizza restaurant but very enjoyable.

    Nice Surprise

After reading the previous reviews, we were not let down. Excellent place for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The menu was great, food fresh, pasta cooked to perfection. Service was pleasant and very attentive. Italian wines at reasonable prices made it especially attractive. We'll go there again.

    An healthy and romantic Night

If you are new to NY and you like genuine, organic and Italian cuisine, this is your next pick. Not only the food was great, but also was organic. I am an advocate of organic food and I love Italian food as well. You got to try the focaccia with cheese and the pizza with wheat flour, wow! I could not choose a better place for my palate. The atmosphere was very romantic, and the servers were discrete. After dinner we cross the street to see the beatiful view of the Brooklyn bridge.
