Love it!
Some friends brought me at Acqua the other night. I had a very enjoyable dinner. The food is very tasty and healthy. Almost everything, including mozzarella and gelati, are homemade and very fresh. I had the focaccia with stracchino that was very good and the Tagliata which is the Tuscan version of a yummy filet mignon sliced and served with fresh arugula and fingerling potatoes, The mascarpone gelato is so creamy and tasteful. The chef is italian - italian and you can tell!!! I reccommend this casual trattoria for the excellent quality food, reasonable prices and the friendly atmosphere.

Simply great!
I am truly deeply in love with this cozy Italian restaurant. The ribollita soup was fantastic....and the bread that comes with it is to die for. The spaghetti with clams and the lasagna are awesome....drinks are cheap and service is friendly...what else can you ask for?

A great Valentine's day
My girlfriend and I are back from a wonderful dinner at Acqua. Everything was perfect: the food, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the..soundtrack, yes the music was a great selection of the best love songs ever. Very enjoyable. I had the Tagliata Steak (cooked at perfection) and my girlfriend had Mezzi Rigati Pasta with artichokes heaarts and baby shrimp (excellent) The fresh chocolate mousse was puffy, creamy and delicate, not hard and semi-frozen like in most commercial places. The meal was very good and also not expensive at all, even if we ordered a great bottle of Chianti. We'll be definitely back.

Used to be good....
This place used to be delish! but apparently new owners took over and now....not so much. the food has gone down hill and the past several times i've been, i have been very dissapointed. used to be a fav and now we won't be going there anymore.

Disappointing
Hearing all of the great reviews, I was excited about trying this new restaurant. I ordered the chicken under the brick - which was okay - but hard to eat and didn't have much chicken on it. The plate was drenched in oil. My friend ordered the steak which was good but arrived cold. I might go back and try it again...

I'm a regular
I'm a regular here; I absolutely loved Acqua's previous incarnation as Quartino. I'm a little skeptical of the changes -- the menu, while bigger, is also more complicated and the new decor has lost some charm. But the food is still very good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Just don't take my table.
