Worth The trip
If your in the downtown Seaport / Financial district and are looking for a good place to eat this is perfect. The quarters are tight but nice. I have seen complaints about the service but i have never had a problem and I've been there 5 or 6 times. Good food.

Lovely atmosphere. Great food.
Lovely atmosphere. Great food. I recommend all pastas and the Tagliata steak. Candlelit ambiance in one of the loveliest corners of the old New York.

Great Birthday memories!
Last week I celebrated my birthday with my close friends at Acqua. I always go there for lunch (i work nearby) so I decided to go there on my special day. It looks SO beautiful with candles in the night! we started with sparkling wine(the best thing for a birthday! :)) and some light appetizers. The crab salad was awesome! then each of us had a defferent pasta: ravioli, fetuchine, spaghetti with clams... Delicious! At the end of our dinner I got a cake with a candle as a compliment from the restaurant! It was so sweet of them! :))) I have warmest memories of my birthday!

Terrible experience
I was meeting someone who works in the neighborhood and decided to try it!I am sorry i did! When the food came ,after a long wait (It was wrong). The wine we prderer at $10 a glass was very acidic we try to explain the waitress (but to no avail).I will never return !Sorry !

Best authentic Italian in town.
Acqua at Peck Slip is now my favorite Italian in town. I just discovered it and i feel much better knowing that i can count on an authentic and healthy place near my new apartment in Fidi. I love their Pear Salad and the fish poached in white wine. The wine selection is wide and reasonably priced. Desserts are excellent! They don't seem to keen to deliver, thus i guess i'll have to fight my late evening laziness. Highly recommended.

Good food, poor service
When we walked into this beautiful restaurant we thought we were in for a treat. Instead, we couldn't get menus for 15 minutes, no one asked for our drink order and... we couldn't even identify our server! We bit our tongues and just went with the flow. Finally someone came over, but no one had their tables in order. Bus Boys kept bringing food we didn't order (because they didn't know the table numbers) and my dinner came out luke warm. The food ( once it was hot) was actually delicious and its a shame that such poor service can ruin a good thing. My advice- get a floor manager and some more waiters who know what they are doing. Then you can call yourself a 4-5 star restaurant. Until then you are just good food with bad service.

Not recommended for delivery
why do they even bothering saying that they deliver when the 4 out of 5 times i attempted to get delivery they denied me?
