Great Food, uncomfortable atmosphere
We were walking down broadway at noon and the menu drew us in. We were first escorted downstairs to an empty room with lots of empty tables...then oddly asked if we had reservations??? After being offered a table in there we asked to sit upstairs and after a couple minutes we were told there was a table available (it was empty there too). The service was so so, and the "regular lunch time crowd" made us feel out of place with lots of stares. Being Jewish as well they were probably wondering who my Rabbi was. However, the food really was incredible, had a chicken wrap and it was fantastic - probably the tastiest ever - and a modest portion. Also, for lunch time the prices were reasonable, for a midtown restaurant. All in all, good spot, but they could lose the ego.

We had a great experience!
I went to Abigael's last night with a friend from England who regularly travels around the workd and eats at fine restaurants, He and his wife were delighted with the food, and we had a great time. I was very pleased and hope to return soon!

Food was delicious
Went to Abigaels for the first time, had a great expierence, they first sat me down on the out side room but when i asked to change tables because i felt uncomfortable, they right away showed me a few tables inside where i can sit. the food was delicious, very friendly staff. would recommend it and would go again just for the Hash brown potatoes side dish :) Overall was a nice outing enjoyed every moment of it.

Disappointed
we sat upstairs which is where the kitchen is. The waiters rush in and out with large platters and one waiter slammed his tray into my head. I nearly saw stars! The maitre-D, who had witnessed the entire thing, didn't even offer us a free dessert.

Great!
My friend and I just went to Abigails and loved it. We sat on the street, great location, and had great food. The service was nice and the atmosphere inviting. Will go again any day

Meh
Had heard about this place, finally went. Underwhelming. My wife's steak was hard and dry, Brazilian steak was ok, but too salty. Appetizers were so so. Don't know what all the full is about.

Best restaurant
I love this place. Service is great and the food is the best
