Finally MP gets a true American Bistro!
What a fantastic place! Cannot believe this is the old Lotus. Decor-service and food are excellent and all lead to a great overall experience. A welcome addition to W14th. Cant wait to go back!

Great New Place
I am not a steakhouse kinda person, but this place is not a traditional steakhouse. It has a great atmosphere, the staff is really friendly, and the food was very good. I am glad it opened and I hope is does very well. I will go back again.

Amazing new restaurant-- you must get the Carnival for dessert!!!
I was thrilled with my dinner at Abe & Arthur's last night! The food was fantastic from appetizer to dessert and the atmosphere was great! We started with Beth's Meatball which were delicious and we also had the tuna tartare tacos which were great. The oysters were very good as well. I had the scallops for dinner which were unreal! But, the best part of the night -- DESSERT! I am not a dessert person but when I heard about the Carnival I had to try it. You actually inject the donuts with either strawberry or lemon sauce! And then there is a chocolate dipping sauce on the side as well as funnel cake. This is by far one of the best new restaurants I have been to and while I know writing this review will make it even harder to get a reservation, I feel like its my duty as a foodie in nyc to share the wealth!

Wonderful New Addition to Area!!
It is so great to finally have a place in the meat packing area that serves well prepared "traditional" American food. The cesar salad was spot on. The sides--especially the mac-and-cheese --was exactly as it should be--hot, creamy and with a wonderful crust on top. All the staff was friendly (not often the case on that side of 14th street). I can't wait to go back and try other items off of the menu. This place is not just about the famous owners or area--the food is the real deal.
