Ordered Take out at 9pm Tuesday night.Delivery Special with Lamb Rogan Josh and a Diet Coke. 1. Guy on phone was unintelligible. 2. Roti was day-old and crusty. 3. Papadam was omitted but was supposed to be included. 4. Lamb container had at least 1/2 cup of oil floating on top of the rogan josh (curry)… almost as much oil as everything else. 5. Flavor of lamb was dull and sauce had no notes of anything. Samosa was uninspired. 5. No condiments were included whatsoever. other Indian places send you too much - this one sends none! 6. Delivery guy called my phone from outside my apartment rather than ringing buzzer. Totaled $20 including tip and definitely not worth it.

Awesome Tandoori
Like a lot of people who've already commented, I've lived in Park Slope for over a decade and have been waiting for something like Aarpan to arrive. Fantastic food. Yeah, it's a little pricey, but aren't most places on 5th avenue? I'm happy to pay a little extra for the vivid flavors and fresh ingredients that they brought to my door. Way better than the other Indian places in the neighborhood.

Best Indian in Park Slope
My husband and I ate here tonight and I am soexcited to finally have quality, fresh Indian cuisine in the neighborhood! I grew up eating (Northern) Indian food and am very picky. The chicken was fresh and tender, the malai kofta was freshly made and perfectly spiced, and the naan and basmati were great too. I would have like a little thinner onion kulcha with more onions and maybe some lemon added to the onions for tartness but other than that it was freshly baked and great. The sauces in the dishes were very flavorful and great consistency. We have found that other Indian restaurants in the area water their sauces down and also do not use fresh produce. The portions are a little bit smaller but the difference in quality is so immense that it didnt matter to us one bit. We will definitely be coming back!

Great food and service
Friendly, helpful, generous service, well-priced lunch special, nicely presented delicious, fresh food! and BYOB! Plus, they have nice garden seating. They played catchy Indian music that added to the experience.

Tasty enough
... but my order was delivered without the rice or papadams, both of which were supposed to be part of the delivery special. So I essentially paid more money for less than if I had ordered a la carte. Good enough that I'll go to the restaurant to eat, but probably won't get delivery again. Shame.

Best lunch special for $ 8.95
The entire staff put their best foot forward. Roti was crisp and warm, chicken vindaloo well spiced, tasty and delicious. Excellent and well prepared lunch deal.

Finally.
Finally. Good Indian food in Park Slope. Spicier than most (which is a plus for me). Good portions, excellent and fresh ingredients - everything was light and delicious!
