Great Takeout Deal
The takeout deal is enough for two people and is a great value. Delicious!

Best
went with my family and friends for dinner last night. The restaurant was quiet and the waiters were great. They were at our table making sure everything was ok all the time. The food was excellent and we will definately be back. The only down side is they do not have any tea or coffee. This really surprised me but I can allow for that once I get a good meal.

meh
The atmosphere is good, but looks unfortunately, are not everything. The sauces are not made in-house, and the dishes are not inspiring. Indus Valley has nothing to worry about. Sorry Aangan, I really wanted to like you, but just couldn't.

Best takeout not complicated
Almost impossible to not order the takeout deal from them every night. No every other night because the food last for a while

Yum
This is a review of the delivery and all I can say is wow! This is easily the best Indian food I've had delivered to my door. It is simply the most fragrant and delicious food available in the area. The naans are exquisite as is the rich butter chicken (Makhani). The chicken samosas are so moreish and the rice is delicious with it's subtly favouring. There's no denying it's expensive, with the portion sizes being nothing special, but you won't find anything as tasty. So if you feel like spoiling yourself then I cannot recommend better.

A Find on the Upper West Side!
Who knew? There's an excellent Indian restaurant on Broadway and 103rd Street. It's been there for a while now but there are others that I've been going to and are more familiar, so I hadn't tried it. Recently I've had two meals there, lunch and dinner, and I was amazed at the quality and variety of the food. There are items on the menu that are not typical of New York Indian restaurants, and they are delicious. I had a wonderful appetizer of spicy mashed vegetables on Indian bread (don't remember the name), a wonderful lamb and spinach saag, and an even better Tandoori chicken kebab with mint sauce. I took home leftover chicken and it was even better the next day. Prices are typical for this neighborhood and the service was attentive. You can be sure I'll be going back for more.
