I had made reservations for a party of 10 at 7:30pm. First two guests in my party checked in at 7:35 and the rest of us ten minutes later at 7:45. At that time I was told it would be a few minutes. Then a very pushy man came outside and forced us to sit outside and drink as it would be 40 min. until we could be seated. I was very upset (especially because I told him we didn't want to drink), but nevertheless, we waited. An hour and 45 minutes, we were still NOT SEATED, and I went inside to find out what was going on. What happened is that they never really has a table for us, and that they lied to us for almost 2 hours saying that we would be seated soon. After close to two hours or waiting and still NO TABLE, we decided to leave and get burgers because we were famished (oh yeah, and no one came out to check on us, offer us appetizers and/or apologize. Our dinner bill would have easily been over $1000, but the people at A VOCE have zero courtesy, business savvy or common courtesy. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SPEND IT SOME PLACE THAT EARNS IT.

Just came back from dinner at A Voce. The service was great, the food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance (we sat outside) was relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely go back again. My friend went there the other night and had a similar experience... Looks like whatever issues they were having earlier in the year have been ironed out.

The atmosphere was great, but that was the only positive. It was hard to understand what the staff said. we asked for more bread but it never came. We asked for no cheese on our pasta, but they put cheese all over it. The dinner and dessert were both unpleasant Save the time and money and go elsewhere.

The service was good, very friendly. Nice atmosphere. One of the appetizers was beautifully plated and tasty. Was not pleased with the second, which had a dusted cheese on top that was below the quality that this restaurant should be serving. I had fish as a main course, which was so salty that I could not tell you if it was tasty or interesting. The greens that I had with it were not cooked with love and had that unfortunate cheese dusted all over the top. This restaurant used to be very good, but heard that the old chef left so go figure. Hopefully they will get their act together or else they will not last.

I was at A voce two years ago, what a diffeernce.. From the time i came in the whole experience was different. was a stressful and uncomfortable feeling. The food was bland, i had spaghetti with tomato sauce for $25 and my friends a fake ossobuco. The manager was unfriendly and i asked her to cool off the place and she ignored us. I hope they get it together.

8PM on a Wednesday and the restaurant is jammed. Sat outside and had great service. Appetizers were the grilled octopus, the beet salad and a half order of pasta. Everything was light, fresh and flavorful. Main courses were a pasta, the duck and the grilled shrimp. Everyone was pleased with the meal, good size portions and would return again.

Pretty standard Italian, nothing special about the food. Probably more a place to see and be seen. Don't bother with the food.
