    Best little place in town

A is the best a neighborhood joint can be: great food, friendly servers, dirt cheap prices, and a very comfortable atmosphere. As long as you're not uptight about needing 5-star French service, you can't go wrong here.

    Yummy!

The food was wonderful, I went with two other people (including a vegetarian) and we all loved our own meals as well as eachothers' dishes. Yes we had to wait for 45 minutes, yes they seat people with previously seated patrons (2-person tables flushed up against eachother), and yes it was worth it. The price is perfect and you bring your own alcohol, which, if you forget, is conveniently for sale at the bar next door!

    Never Again

Be warned -- though the place has a buzz and is full most nights, it's tiny size will have them seat you family style -- without telling you about it, and whether you like it or not. When we complained (on a slower weeknight, no less) the hostess was indignant and unapologetic, and even gave us a hard time about getting the rest of our meal "to go" since we didn't want to eat with strangers. The couple she was planning to seat with us was obviously uncomfortable and said, "Sorry, we didn't mean to chase you out!" The hostess(owner?) was the height of rudeness and I will never eat there again. And we never got the "to go" food we paid for! It is not worth it.

    Quaint

While the food at A is great, there are few options for vegetarians.
