    So, so yummy!!

My husband and I love it here! You will not find better service anywhere. The owners are such nice, friendly people!! It is always a pleasure for us to go. Everything is good but I love the mushroom ragout. It is so fresh and delicious....and even better, you don't feel like a cow after you eat it.

    Fantastic!

This restaurant is wonderful! It's in my neighborhood, but is so small that we almost missed it. The food was excellent and the service warm and friendly- the owner even gave us the pear appetizer for free to try at the end of our meal! It tasted amazing, and affirmed that I will most definitely be back again.

Still good, but not like the old days

I've been going to A for the past 5 years. I hadn't been in a while (their phone number was disconnected and I thought it was closed) and tonight it didn't live up to my expectations. The pear appetizer is still amazing, unfortunately they were out of the escargot, but the chicken was a little dry. That was disappointing. Still, it's my top date spot, and I enjoy the experience of going to the seedy liquor store two doors down to get wine for the meal. I'll be back, but I'm crossing my fingers that they bring A back to what it used to be.

    What a trip

Food is good to great, esp loved the phesant pate. The entire place is maybe 350 sq feet, including the kicthen which is really no more than 2 toaster ovens and a fridge. We shared a table with a nice couple, the place is very cramped. be ready to get to know your neighbors.

not as good as it used to be

I have been going to a for 2 years on and off, & even though love it have found portions getting smaller and the wait for a table getting longer. I know still one of the cheapest but their cooking is starting to fall in standards. I hope they get some more competition in the area.

    A+

This place is great! The BYOB is awsome, the food is organic and creative. The waiter is friendly and timely, the atmosphere is cozy and unprentcious. I loved it and can't wait to go back!

    Best kept UWS secret

I love everything about A, from the food, to the cozy, homey atmosphere, to the hospitable staff. I had the avocado w/shittake mousse the mussells seasoned with cayenne and curry. Both dishes were very flavorful. Their menu is very creative and even better, everything is organic! It's also vegetarian-friendly and had several specifically vegan options to choose from, including two main courses. I plan on being a frequent customer at A and look forward to experiencing more of their innovative cuisine!
