Best Ice Cream In The City! Hands Down!
I've been visiting this ice cream shop for years now. I take all my friends and family there whenever we find ourselves in the village. The ice cream is so light and tasteful. It isn't like other ice creams shops that try to overwhelm your taste buds with sugar or huge chunks of ingredients. The ingredients are simple, light, fluffy and above all tasteful. I advise anyone who enjoys a good cup or cone of ice cream to make your way downtown to this hot spot where the prices seem a little much but is more than worth it! This shop is the reason I wish for summer to come sooner....so that I may eat as many cones in a day with as many flavors as possible. =-p

Muy Buena
Argentinian ice cream; what a concept! This stuff is fabulous: dense, light, and firm enough so that it doesn't melt into a pool of milky goo. I tried the corn, which I instantly fell in love with, and the mate, whose bitterness and tannic qualities were refreshing when paired with the sweetness of the corn. A real treat, and I'd love to try their other flavors.

The Most Over-Rated Ice-Cream in NYC
Over-rated, tasteless, soul-less ice cream. I still don't understand why so many people like it...the chocolate tasted powdery, the ginger was OK, the berry flavors bland, and the grapefruit was gross. As far as I know, this is an over-rated tourist joint. Also, the girl behind the counter is rude and they only let you try 1 or 2 flavors...where can I get good ice -cream in NYC? This is so disappointing.

It's spoiled me for all other ice cream.
I get regular cravings for the ice cream from Cones. You should definitely do yourself a favor and try it for yourself. And don't forget to top it off with the freshly made whipped cream. No "whipped topping" nonsense here. M-m-m-m.

Fabulous Sorbet!!!
I've visited Cones twice and have not been disappointed! This place is best for their sorbet. They have rly unique flavors! The passion fruit and andean blackberry are amazing!!!! They only allow two tastes and that is when there isn't a crowd. In the two flavor cup ($5) they don't put equal scoops of ice cream/sorbet..whichever flavor u say first gets two scoops in the cup and the second flavor, one scoop. The servers can be short with their customers, which is annoying, but they arent horrible. They are slightly overpriced, but it is worth it for an occasional treat of luscious, sweet, and tart sorbet goodness!
