    REAL Italian pizza

Born and raised in Italy folks, this is exactly how I remember it. Thin, crispy crust that won't bend when you hold it by the end, yet not tough or burnt. I can only speak for the cheese pizza here but this is definitely my favorite at this price range. Sure, it ain't gourmet and I've had better, but bear in mind the price guys. Their cheese pizza is about ten times better than anything RAY'S can dish out; sauce straight out of the can, cheap process cheese, frozen dough. This guy makes everything himself. THIS is what quality inexpensive pizza should taste like. So the guy's not great on the phone,,, are you? You are? Great! Speak clearly and be patient and courteous like I am and you'll never have a problem. Now call them up and get yourself some authentic stuff.

    Not good for white pizza

Being new to the neighborhood, we have been in search for a new quality white pizza. Their white was made of overly greasy processed cheeses and tasteless crust. Stomach aches were soon to follow. If their regular pizza is any similar to their white, I will not be a repeat customer!

    Love this pizza

My husband and I order from 9th Ave. Pizza every week or two. We've both lived in the neighborhood for a long time and tried many pizza places - most are more expensive, and none are as good. This place has never disappointed me and I am a native New Yorker.

    Old fashioned NY Pizza

My husband and I live in the neighborhood and frequently order for delivery. The pizza is always perfect in every way, and reminds me of Vinnie's (which is no more), the standard against which I measure all pizza.

    Not Worth It

I tried the pizza here a few times. I keep thinking that it will improve each time but its not the case. Pizza is cheapest around at 2 bucks a slice but you get what you pay for. The place is usually empty so the pizza pies sit around awhile. You can tell by looking at it. My suggestion is to walk another block and pay 50 cents more for a real slice. Pizza parlors are on every corner.

    Ridiculously uneven

Food is so-so at best...pizza is sometimes ok, sometimes overly salty. Worse, I live on 42nd and 11th, and depending on the guy's frame of mind, its either a 'no problem', or he won't deliver 'too far, too far' Do yourself a favor, and find someplace more consistent in terms of its food and its service
