    Far from Philly

Ok, I have lived in Philly for a year. So I consider myself to know a GOOD cheesesteak, I took a friend with me, as he had been to Philly on a road trip and has had at least 3 different cheesesteaks from some of the top establishments there. I went here based on New York Metro's review. Well, the cheesesteaks were good, but I have to say it was way too much bread or maybe the cheesesteak wasn't made to generate enough "sauce" i.e. cheese and grease. It was missing something. The service was OK, considering they didn't know which sandwich was which and basically we had to figure it out ourselves at the table. The TV is a great idea but if you let your so-call security hog the TV and watch extreme wrestling without concern that the customers weren't interested, what entertainment does that provide your customers? This was gets a B.

    Phantastic

Being from Philly I'm always skeptical about what New Yorkers call a Cheesesteak, but after the 4 star review in New York Magazine I had to give this place a try. I finally was not disappointed. I ordered a Provolone wit', The Bread was as close to Amoroso as I've tasted, the meat was juicy and flavorful, they also have the best pickles I've ever had. The staff was very friendly, and if all that isn't enough they have the greatest t.v. to watch the games on. The only difference between this place and the one's I grew up on is that this place is in NYC. I'm hooked and will be a regular.

    Dry

So excited to try this. I got a cheeseteak wit' onions. It was very dry. And mostly bread, didn't feel like there was enough steak to balance out the moisture-sponging bread. I was disappointed.

    Not quite Philly

Growing up in Philly I was skeptical about any cheese steak made of the 215 area code. I have to say they do a pretty good cheese steak, well prepared and they understand me when I say scoop the bread. It ain't quite Philly but it pretty close. A good place for home sick Eagles fans.

    Finally!

...an NYC Philly Cheesesteak joint that gets it right. Simple, tasty, juicy steaks on great (new) bread. I had a cheesesteak with American Cheese and mushrooms that was great! Big HDTV with afternoon soccer, evening basball, nice people and great people watching!

    Great place for lunch break

I went there for the first time last thursday. I had a great double chicken cheese steak with fries. I never enjoyed lunch so much. I was watching the met game in HD. That put me over the top. Great Food. Great Atmosphere.
