    Can't beat 99cent pizza

Great value, quick service, tasty pizza. Only complaint isn't really about the pizza place... the area itself is a bit... "sketchy."

You know you have a good pizza...

When it doesnt cost you an arm and a leg. I was skeptical but the pizza was good. I mean you can literally find the same exact slice anywhere else in Manhattan but it will cost you anywhere from 2.25-2.75 a slice. The slices here weren't as thin as I was expecting and the guys serving it up were really nice. I'd be careful going there at night because the area was mad shady. But other than that, you can't go wrong here if you're looking for inexpensive and relatively good food. (P.S. donuts and coffee were all FIFTY CENTS. ill remember that for next time!)

    great pizza, easy location

This is a great slice (or two) of pizza. The service is fast, plesant and easy. its too bad you cant sit, but then that would raise the price. this is a must have for the true pizza lover. ive never had anything other than a cheese pizza but i gather the toppings are good too.

just because its .99, doesnt mean its ..

not good. pizza is awesome! there always open. even if its crowded, you get out of there in 5 minutes. perfect on the go pizza. one downside, you cant sit and eat, but there is a counter. $2.75 special gets you to slices and a drink. most places now charge $2.50 for a slice. kind of insane if you ask me.

Can't Ask for a Better Deal

99 Cents for a slize of pizza? 8 bucks for an 18'' pie? You're not going to find a better deal anywhere. The pizza itself was great. The only reason it isn't getting a perfect 5.0 is that it was a little thinner than pizza usually is. Still tasted great and still made fresh. The service was fast. They had a whole pie ready for us in no longer than 2 minutes. Again, not a 5.0 though, because the guys working there didn't really speak english well and there was some confusion at first when we ordered. The Value gets a perfect 5.0. 8 Bucks for a large pie was well worth it. I definitely think you get more than you paid for in this scenario. The atmosphere is kinda tricky because you can't go inside the place so you have to order it and then go somewhere else with it. Luckily I live nearby, but it's right across the street from the underpass of the port authority and walking by with a box of pizza can feel slightly dangerous when passing through 25 homeless people with attitudes who just watched you buy the food. All in all I would highly reccommend it to anyone who lives north or east of their location and to anyone who wants freshly made, delicious pizza for an unbeatable price.

    Cheap Eat's In NYC

So what do you expect for 99 cents in a city that is so expensive for everything else? They have a “value meal” of two slices with a drink for $2.75 and with enough garlic and oregano, it’s not bad. The best part about the place is the people …as you eat outside standing at the corner of 41 and Ninth Ave ….and you will see a great cross section of the city stopping by to have a slice Limo’s, Cops, Street people … in my book it’s must along side of Katz’s …not great ….but a place that should put a check mark against in your eating book.
