I Love This Place
I have been here a few times in the last six months. I will keep it brief. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect, calm and quiet. I have tried several of their special rolls and they have all been great. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Awful Recipes. First and last try here.
One of the Worst General Tso's Shrimp dishes I have ever had - with a thick slimy coating of corn starch around each shrimp, bathed in a borderline sauce. A salad that fit in a cup that was less than what one might expect from the trimmings provided for topping a typical burger at a diner, along with a subpar ginger dressing. This is part of that horrible new caliber of chinese food recipes that has slowly proliferated in the last 10-15 years, using the most base and cheap ingredients, and lacking recipes. Chinese food used to be great years earlier but this type is completely unacceptable.

Amazing food and great atmosphere!
I have been scouring the UES for awesome sushi. I've definitely found some great places and 88 Fusion is one of them! First, the ambience is really great -- not overwhelming or crazy. The servers are all SO NICE! Everything comes out fast and hot and the servers are so attentive. I tried the scallion pancakes which are really tasty! Then I had a few rolls -- all great -- along with the shrimp shumai dumplings. I literally have zero complaints about the food -- I thought it was all great! Overall, I had a great time here. Everything came out fast and fresh and the service was really top notch. I'll definitely be back here - with friends!

Can't wait to go back
I usually pay attention to reviews and if something gets 3 stars or less avoid it and was concerned about the reviews that said the food is bland, but last night I broke that rule and ordered from 88 Fusion. Was I ever glad. Everything I got was absolutely delicious - not bland at all. I don't know what those who thought it was bland ordered but I'd say give it another shot.

Excellent Asian Fusion
I live on the UES, and consider myself a foodie. This is the best delivery General Tsaos Chicken you will find in NYC. Crispy, tender, hot, all-white pieces of chicken. Tons of food. The sauce is amazing. Hot and Sour soup was delicious. The Rock Shrimp Tempura wasn't good.

Messed up Delivery order: twice!
Ordered delivery for the Pad See Ew, Indonesian Curry and Rock Shrimp Tempura. They sent us the wrong curry. We called to ask them to send the correct dish. They called us back 10 minutes later to ask again what we ordered. When we finally received the 2nd delivery, it was still incorrect! The Rock Shrimp Tempura is not tempura; just some fried shrimp with a mayo sauce. The Pad See Ew was good, however.

Great food
I have been here three times and each time it has gotten better and better. They have been expanding their menu quite a bit since they opened a few months back and have a lot more variety on the menu now. The Chicken Lettuce appetizer is extremely tasty and a number of the main dishes we have tried (Mango Chicken, Celery Chicken, salmon) have all been top notch. I am a huge fan of any and all Asian food and this is definitely among the best I have tried. The staff are extremely attentive - on the border of being too much so, which is the only (very minor) criticism of the place. Excellent restaurant and I'll be back again in the future.
