Isn't the customer always right? I ordered food from Chinese 88 and asked for shrimp fried rice with no onions and extra bean sprouts with chicken wings. Paid for my food when the delivery arrived at my office and realized my order was wrong. This was the first time EVER that I had experienced getting the wrong order from them. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, called to explain that my rice was plain and I paid for shrimp fried rice w/ etc... The woman starts fussing with me telling me what I said, but she is in the wrong. When I asked if they could bring me the right order, she (very cut and dry) stated that they were "too busy" to bring the order to me and I had to come get it. Appalled by her response, I nicely explained that was quite alright because they will never get a dime from me again. I was a loyal customer and all they had to do was correct their wrong. I would have continued to be a loyal customer. I usually order for the entire office, but they have lost out on that. Beware is you ever get the wrong order. You may get stuck with it and no shame on their end.

To start off, ordering was ridiculous. They're very rude when ordering and the lady was constantly screaming at me. She must of not known I wouldve whooped he... nevermind. Well I ordered orange chicken with yellow rice and a shrimp egg roll. Well reading some of these reviews yall saying they didnt deliver to your door. Well they asked for my apt. so Im guessing they're delivering? I hope they do come up. I dont wanna go down, for all that I couldve went to the chinese store by myself. Well he's here now and the chicken taste good its my first time. He doesnt speak english which was difficult but he knows..

It wouldn't be fair to compare to other downtown spots and it is a good value. Prices are still pretty cheap. Service is short but friendly. The delivery guy comes to my door. Got this spot on speed dial.

I've ordered from here a couple of times only because I've passed by the restaurant and it's cleaner than the other chinese "restaurants" in the neighborhood. The delivery service is relatively quick and stress free. My experience with the delivery man is that he refuses to come upstairs and not so much because he can't speak english. I agree with the others, the food is greasy...I 've ordered their "no msg" food before and obviously it was less greasy.Overall, I can't really complain only because this is a typical chinese place in a "low-income" neighborhood...I guess I just have to deal with average food and average service....

The food was heavy, oily, had too much batter... the shrimp was in a pancake of dough rather than breaded and fried! The online menu prices were significantly less than their actual prices so what should have cost $14 was $19.25. Also the delivery man could not speak English and I had to come downstairs to get my food. Ridiculous!
