Thumb up
7'A is one of my favorite places. Good food, good ambience and good service.

An overall great experience
The food was very good. I had the California omlete (I believe that is what it was called) that tasted incredible. The serving size was hearty and it came with a tasty side salad. The waiter was nice and very efficient. The service was really perfect... the food came out in just the right amount of time and our waters were always full. I will go back for brunch again... their all-day breakfast menu has lots of offer and what we tried was delicious.

Note to the moody customer (5/8/06)
I actually completley disagree with the comments made by the 'moody' customer whom posted his/hers opinion 5/8/06. 7A has always been my favorite choice at the east village. The atmosphere is unintimidating and blends perfectly with the neighborhood. The food and value is probably the best you can get in the city. The service has gotten so much better, i think! food gets to your table fast and so the drinks. Bruch is so busy there, one can understand if it take the server a few minutes to get back to you with change.

Good food poor service
I live very close to this restaurant. It would be a place that I would eat at every week if the service wasn't so substandard. I've been here countless times and always i have to wait about 30 minutes just to pay my bill. The food is definately good, the atmosphere is nice, and it's open 24 hours. I just won't eat there anymore because it is a hassle.

7A is awesome, hostess isn't
7A is fantastic. The service is friendly and super fast. Everything I've tried on the menu is fabulous, especially the run butter with the french toast. I could eat it with a spoon. The only criticism I can offer is that the hostess will often mis-predict the wait time. One weekend we were told she would "hook us up." The wait was an hour. The next weekend we were told the wait would be 20 minutes. The wait was an hour. But the food is always worth it.

Great Place...Although it is Changing...
7A used to be an awesome place and still is...it is the customers that are messing it all up. This place used to be filled with tattoos, gay/lesbians and hipsters laughing it up and having a great time...since this new LES renewal project took effect now it is nothing but yuppies. Uhhhhh they are the worst. Although, I do love the owner and my boyfriend and I will eat there a few times a week. It is an awesome place, food is great, service is sweet, and it is really like a home away from home. I suggest this place to friends of mine time and time again.

Is it 7A really?
Went to 7A last weekend. you know that 24 hr. place on the east side, famous for it's good food for a low price bad service and nothing else. I was stunned! it's a true makeover! I actually got some decent service from a cute waitress. the food was amazing with genorous portions as usual, but the atmosphere, the way the place look now.... i just couldn't believe I was at the same place! definately!! definately!! going back there over and over again!!
