    Really...

This used to be one of the best places to eat in the East Village. Now the quality of the food and service has gone down tremendously. They got rid of the mustard vinaigrette which I considered the best ever and the "specials" aren't very special anymore. Now, were do I go to get an Eggs Benedict? Sidewalk? Even the weekdays suck. In 8 yrs this was the first time I got a burnt omelet and cold toast. Is this place under new management? Go back to old management, please.

    7A never disappoints!

we haven't been to 7A in quite a long time. we went today @ 4:00, and it is always crowded, always good, always plentiful, always reasonable prices. yes, consistent is the operative word! omelettes always prepared "real soft" as i like it...generally i specify "soft" and the eggs are well done and inedible. their carrot salad dressing is special: light and tasty. it has certainly earned its popularity.

Great scene, bang for your buck, yummy food and awesome desserts!

Had a chance to dine again at 7A (since years ago... because of my uptown move!) with a few friends this past weekend. This place never fails to deliver! It was something I truly miss! The scene was interesting as always... We enjoyed our dinner of tortellini with sundried tomatoes, the linguini with mushrooms, the pasta with goat cheese and the chicken cordon bleu which were all very yummy! And for desserts, we had this really delicious apple pie with that light and nicely flaky crust and a very unique key lime pie- tangy and sweet, d---lish! Service was all right- that was a busy night... And we didn't go home broke!

Great Place to Eat and Relax

This place is not pretentious, the service is usually pretty good. I don't know why people complaint about unfriendly staff, but I've been here a bunch of times and have never had that problem. The happy hour is a great value. The best part about this place is the food though. Their carrot ginger dressing is amazing. You MUST get the Nachos!!!

    Consistently good

7A's food isn't can't-live-without but it's consistently good and fresh, especially the salads. I've been there many times and I've never had a bad meal but I've never had a meal I raved about (I've also never had a friendly server). I don't crave it but I'm sure I'll go back many more times. Outdoor seating is great for people watching.

Here is what you need to know

I went on reviews off of this site and I don't know why there are reviews on this place. The food was poor. The service was just as poor as well. Price is fair because the lack of detail into simple fair.

Great food for anytime of the day!!

I have been going here for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it!!! It's a great place go for when the bars close and you are not ready to hit the hay. The only thing I don't like about the place is the bathrooms-boy do they suck--just dont use them. There bruch menu is awsome too. Everytime I try something new I love it so explore your pallet.
